Karachi Kings’ fast bowler, Hasan Ali, has etched his name in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history by becoming the highest wicket-taker of all time, surpassing the previous record held by Wahab Riaz.
This remarkable achievement came during a match against Quetta Gladiators, which was played at Karachi’s National Stadium on Friday.
In the game, Karachi Kings batted first and posted a competitive total of 175 runs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Quetta Gladiators, in response, struggled significantly, managing to score only 119 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Karachi’s dominant 56-run victory was largely propelled by Hasan Ali’s exceptional bowling performance.
Hasan Ali’s three-wicket haul in the match brought him to a total of 116 wickets in 84 innings, surpassing Wahab Riaz’s previous record of 113 wickets in 87 innings.
