PM Shehbaz Visits Quake-Hit Areas In Turkiye


Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his two-day visit to Turkey has pledged to send further relief for the nation’s earthquake victims. He reaffirmed that Pakistan “is standing with Turkey” at this troubled time.
In a media coverage at Adiyaman University, he stated, “By our own eyes, we have seen the massive devastation in Turkey today.” “I want to say that Pakistan has changed its strategy following my discussion with President Erdogan yesterday. Before, we sent winterized tents, blankets, and supplies for meals.

Minister Shehbaz announced that he would arrive in Pakistan tonight and meet with every prospective local tent producer there. He stated that Pakistan will subsequently transport tents to Turkey by air, land, and sea.

PM Shehbaz pledged that Turkiye would receive the tents as soon as possible.

The premier visited and spoke with locals in the Adiyaman seismically areas earlier today. Marriyum Aurangzeb, the information minister, and NDMA representatives were with him.

Moreover, the Prime minister handed over the relief to turkey citizens sent by Pakistan.

Shehbaz Shareef visited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara after arriving in Turkey on Thursday. He conveyed “deep condolences” on behalf of the Pakistani people and the Pakistani government.

“I reassured him that Turkey will always have our backing.” Prime minister said. In a tweet, he had written, “I am convinced that under the president’s guidance, Turkey will emerge from this calamity stronger.

Moreover, PM Shehbaz handed over the relief sent by Pakistan for Turkiye to Turkish officials.

Furthermore, the prime minister visited Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and conveyed “deep condolences” on behalf of the Pakistani nationals.
