Pakistan unveils ‘Pak Hajj 2025’ app to guide and support pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced the “Pak Hajj 2025” mobile application to provide comprehensive support and guidance for Pakistani pilgrims. Available on both Android and iPhone platforms, the app is designed to enhance the Hajj experience by offering a variety of essential features for the journey to Makkah and Madinah.

First utilized successfully during last year’s Hajj, the app is expected to serve as a vital resource for pilgrims in 2025. In an official statement, the ministry emphasized, “The Pak Hajj mobile app aims to raise awareness and keep applicants informed throughout the process.”

Key features include access to detailed training schedules, covering dates, timings, and venues for Hajj preparation sessions. Users can also check flight details such as flight numbers, departure cities, and schedules for both outbound and return journeys.

To ensure a seamless pilgrimage, the app offers navigational tools, including maps of significant locations and routes in Makkah and Madinah, helping pilgrims navigate the crowded areas more efficiently.

For Hajj 2025, Saudi Arabia has allocated a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Pakistan. To streamline the application process, 15 designated banks across Pakistan have commenced accepting applications from prospective pilgrims as of Monday.
