Pakistan Railways Announces Eid Special Trains from Karachi

Pakistan Railways has introduced three special trains from Karachi to facilitate passengers traveling for Eid celebrations. These special services aim to accommodate the increased demand during the festive season, ensuring a smoother and more convenient journey for commuters.

According to an official statement from Pakistan Railways, two of these special trains will operate on the Karachi-Lahore route, while one will be designated for Rawalpindi. The initiative is part of efforts to provide affordable and efficient travel options for people heading to their hometowns for the holidays.

The first Eid special train is scheduled to depart from Karachi Cantonment Station today at 1:00 PM, making its way to Lahore. This service is expected to be in high demand, as many travelers prefer to leave early to spend maximum time with their families during the festivities.

The second train will be heading to Rawalpindi and is set to depart from Karachi City Station tomorrow at 8:30 PM. The Rawalpindi-bound service will provide much-needed relief to passengers traveling to northern regions of the country, where Eid celebrations often involve large family gatherings.

A third Eid special train is scheduled to leave for Lahore on March 28 at 9:00 PM from Karachi. With two trains catering to Lahore-bound passengers, Pakistan Railways aims to manage the increased number of travelers efficiently.

The introduction of these additional train services highlights the railway authorities’ commitment to ensuring convenient and affordable travel for citizens during major occasions. The move comes as part of broader efforts to improve public transportation and address seasonal travel demands.

Passengers are advised to book their tickets in advance to avoid last-minute inconvenience. Pakistan Railways has also announced that additional measures will be taken to ensure passenger safety and comfort during these special journeys.
