NAB team probes Imran Khan in Al-Qadir Trust case
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today probed former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan in the 190 million Pounds settlement case.
Khan appeared in the NAB’s office in Rawalpindi amid strict security on Tuesday after getting bail in eight cases from the ATC in Islamabad.
NAB team probed the former Premier for more than an hour on Tuesday.
Answering some of the questions of the NAB team, Imran Khan said that the record of 190 million Pounds settlement was with the Cabinet Division. Khan also told NAB that the Bureau had already received a record of the case.
The NAB officials inquired about Imran Khan’s correspondence with the British National Crime Agency.
The Bureau also sought the record of freezing orders for £190 million.
Imran Khan reached the NAB Rawalpindi office along with his legal team consisting of Salman Safdar, Khawaja Haris, Intezar Panjotha, and others at the NAB office. Bushra Bibi, who also accompanied Imran Khan, stayed in the car outside the NAB office.
