Imran Khan gets bail in eight cases from ATC in Islamabad till June 8
ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court in Islamabad today granted bail to Imran Khan in eight cases till June 8, 2023.
The former prime minister and PTI chairman Imran Khan appeared in the ATC at the Judicial Complex in Islamabad on Tuesday morning to get bail in different cases.
Imran Khan appeared in the anti-terrorism court ahead of his appearance before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Al-Qadir Trust case in Rawalpindi.
PTI’s legal team _ Salman Safdar, Khawaja Haris, Intezar Panjotha, Gohar Ali Khan, and Ali Aijaz are accompanying Imran Khan and his spouse Bushra Bibi.
After appearing in the ATC in Islamabad, the former prime minister will appear before the NAB Rawalpindi in the Al-Qadir Trust scandal involving an allegation of corruption of 190 million Pounds.
According to the latest information, former prime minister Imran Khan has reached the NAB Rawalpindi office to join the investigation in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
Imran Khan asks his party workers to remain peaceful in case he is arrested again
Before appearing in court cases on Monday morning in Islamabad, Imran Khan urged his supporters to remain peaceful if he is arrested again.
Khan made this appeal to his party workers and supporters today well before leaving Lahore to appear in different cases in Islamabad on Tuesday. Khan appeared in the ATC at the Judicial Complex, Islamabad, and got bail in eight cases till June 8.
The former prime minister said that torching Lahore Corps Commander House and Radio Pakistan building was a criminal activity but said that staging a protest is a fundamental right.
Imran Khan clarified through Twitter that his party has been blamed for the burning of the Corps Commander’s House, but without any investigation, so far.
