Recent reports have revealed a perplexing narrative regarding a Saudi woman who was previously reported missing in Pakistan. She was allegedly found in Karachi, residing with a young Pakistani man. However, the man has since been detained by authorities on suspicion of abduction.
The unfolding saga has captured attention due to the woman’s purported affiliations with the Saudi royal family.
The woman’s journey commenced in the Lower Dir district of KP province, where she intended to visit a local acquaintance, a former colleague from their shared employment in Saudi Arabia. However, their rendezvous took an alarming turn as they vanished from sight, prompting the lodging of an FIR in Islamabad. The document accused Abdul Wahid, a Pakistani national, of orchestrating the abduction.
Tracking the pair’s movements posed a challenge, yet investigators employed mobile phone signal triangulation to chart their whereabouts. The trail led them through various locales, initially in the Larkana district of Sindh before culminating in Karachi, where they were ultimately located, residing in a guest house.
Rukhsar Mehdi, an SP with Pakistan’s Crime Investigation Agency, confirmed that both individuals had been detained in Karachi. Plans were underway to transport them back to Islamabad for further inquiry and legal proceedings.
The narrative brims with unanswered questions, leaving authorities and the public intrigued about the circumstances surrounding the woman’s disappearance and subsequent discovery. As the investigation progresses, it is hoped that clarity will be brought to this enigmatic episode.
