Talat Hussain seeks apology from journalists after TV channel did not broadcast his program: Watch that video

ISLAMABAD: Senior Journalist and TV anchorperson Syed Talat Hussain has apologized to three guest journalists after Samaa TV did not air his show, citing reasons beyond his control.

Anchorpersons Kashif Abbasi, Shehzad Iqbal, Amir Ilyas Rana, and Muneeb Farooq were guests on the “Redline with Talat,” which airs on Samaa TV.

“Apologies to Kashif Abbasi, Shehzad Iqbal, Amir Ilyas Rana, and Munib Farooq who participated in my program ‘Redline with Talat,’ recorded today, and which didn’t air for reasons beyond my control,” the anchorperson said in a social media post.

He, nonetheless, did not mention the show’s topic, what they discussed, and what questions he asked his panelists.

In recent weeks, topics such as the federal government’s decision to ban the PTI and the review petition against the Supreme Court’s reserved seats case decision have been widely discussed on various talk shows.

Representatives from the government, PTI, and experts have frequently appeared on these shows.

Later on, Talat Hussain shared a portion of the show wherein analyst Muneeb Farooq claimed that the Supreme Court’s decision to give the reserved seats to PTI would not be implemented.

He said that the government, Election Commission Pakistan, and the establishment will create hurdles in the way of reserved seats allotment to the PTI.
