Today, Maryam Nawaz, the Vice President and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), is scheduled to depart for Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.
She will be spending the last ten days of Ramadan in the Kingdom and will leave at 2 pm.
On Twitter, Maryam Nawaz shared a touching video featuring speech-impaired children expressing their wish to meet her.
She has promised to meet these young men upon her return from Umrah, stating that it would be her honor and pleasure to do so.
There has been a related development where Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud extended an invitation to PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to perform Umrah.
The Saudi Arabian government has invited Nawaz Sharif as a royal guest, and he will spend the last 10 days of Ramadan in Makkah and Madinah.

According to the new guidelines, the ministry will only allow pilgrims to perform Umrah once during the holy month and will not permit them to repeat it.
The ministry has made this decision to ensure that all pilgrims who wish to perform Umrah during Ramadan can do so without any inconvenience or discomfort.
‘Nusuk Hajj’ platform
To perform Umrah, pilgrims must obtain a permit from the Nusuk app and adhere to the specified time.
They can delete their appointment via the app before entering the permitted time and issue a new permit if they wish to change the date.
However, there is no feature to amend the Umrah date.

The ministry has urged interested individuals, including Saudi citizens, residents, and foreigners with active visas, to obtain their permits early through the Nusuk app and follow the specified date to perform their Umrah.
They can download the Nusuk app from the Apple Store or Google Play.
Furthermore, the ministry is taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of Umrah pilgrims coming from abroad.
They must ensure that they do not have COVID-19 or have been in contact with an infected person.
