Four Laborers Killed in Armed Attack in Balochistan

BALOCHISTAN: Four laborers were shot dead by unidentified assailants while working on a tube well project in the Mangochar area of Kalat district, authorities confirmed.

The attack occurred when armed men on motorcycles opened fire on the workers at the Malangzai location before fleeing the scene. The victims, all from Sadiqabad, Punjab, were identified as Munawar Hussain, Zeeshan, Dilawar Hussain, and M. Amin.

The laborers were working on a tube well for local landowner Abdul Ghafoor Langove when the incident took place. Levies personnel were dispatched to the site after receiving reports, where they collected evidence and launched an investigation into the motive behind the killings.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the terrorist attack, offering prayers for the victims and expressing condolences to their families. He emphasized the nation’s solidarity with the bereaved families during this tragic time.

PM Sharif denounced those responsible for targeting innocent laborers as “enemies of humanity” and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism, vowing that efforts would continue until all forms of terrorism are eliminated from the country.
