FIA locates the suspect who uploaded morphed images of CM Punjab

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has requested assistance from the FIA Cybercrime Unit in Karachi to apprehend a suspect accused of uploading morphed images of the Punjab Chief Minister on social media.

According to FIA sources, the suspect, a resident of District East, allegedly shared doctored photos of the Punjab CM alongside the president of a Gulf country on various social media platforms, aiming to spread misleading information.

FIA Karachi has asked FIA Lahore to submit a formal written request before proceeding with the matter, citing that verbal or text-based requests could result in legal complications.

The suspect’s location has already been identified, and action will be initiated upon receiving the required documentation.
