Efforts are underway by police and rescue officials to retrieve the body from the ditch along Islamabad’s Trail 5. The rescue department plans to use an iron rod in the recovery operation.

Upon identification, family members of the deceased rushed to the scene for confirmation.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the boy slipped into the ditch and suffered fatal injuries.
