BLA claims responsibility for the deadly Quetta Railway Station blast

ISLAMABAD: The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a deadly bombing at Quetta railway station, targeting innocent Baloch passengers awaiting their trains.

The attack claimed 25 lives and left numerous others wounded. The victims were local civilians engaged in their daily routines, traveling peacefully to various destinations.

Local reports indicate that the explosion led to extensive casualties, cutting short the lives of many innocent people. The victims, primarily from the Baloch community, were often traveling for work or personal reasons, tragically becoming casualties of this violent assault.

This brutal attack has shocked not only the people of Balochistan but also broader Pakistani society, underscoring the persistent threat of extremism and terrorism in the region. By attacking civilians, the BLA has committed a grave violation of human rights, showcasing the devastating impact such militant groups have on ordinary lives. This bombing serves as a stark reminder of the dangers faced by the Baloch population, as extremist violence endangers the well-being of innocent citizens.

The attack has been widely condemned by local authorities and human rights organizations, highlighting how extremist actions continue to place countless lives at risk. The BLA’s targeting of unarmed civilians fuels a cycle of conflict, leaving numerous Baloch families mourning the loss of loved ones. The incident has sparked widespread calls to end such violence and bolster protections for civilians in Balochistan.

As investigations continue, the BLA’s role in the bombing remains under scrutiny, with local authorities committed to bringing those responsible to justice.
