The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages across several areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi on Tuesday, September 8.
The electricity supply will be suspended temporarily due to annual maintenance and construction work on the company’s electricity network.
IESCO said the shutdowns are part of planned work aimed at maintaining and improving the power distribution system.
Power Shutdowns in Islamabad
Several areas under the Islamabad Operation Circle will experience temporary electricity suspensions during different hours on Tuesday.
Consumers in the affected areas may face interruptions while IESCO teams carry out scheduled maintenance and construction activities.

Rawalpindi City Areas to Face Outages
Several localities under the Rawalpindi City Operation Circle will also experience scheduled power suspensions.
IESCO has assigned different outage timings for the affected areas as maintenance and network-related work is carried out.
Consumers are advised to remain prepared for temporary interruptions during the announced maintenance periods.
Rawalpindi Cantt Also Included
The Rawalpindi Cantt Operation Circle is also included in Tuesday’s scheduled power shutdown plan.
Electricity supply in affected areas will be suspended temporarily to facilitate annual maintenance and construction work.
