British authorities have initiated a murder investigation and launched an international manhunt for three individuals suspected of being involved in the killing of a 10-year-old named Sara Sharif. Her dead body was discovered in her family’s house in Woking, Surrey, on August 10th.
It was reported that the three individuals booked one-way flights out of the country before the girl’s body was found. A travel agent disclosed that he had been contacted to arrange flights to Pakistan for three adults and five children.

Detectives from Surrey Police confirmed that no other individuals were present at the residence when they arrived in the early morning hours. The three individuals who are being sought were known to the victim.
Surrey Police’s Detective Superintendent Mark Chapman stated that they are not seeking to identify anyone else in connection with the investigation. The National Crime Agency (NCA) is collaborating with Surrey Police on the case by providing specialized officers and operational support.
Pakistani authorities have informed that no formal approach has been made by British authorities regarding the case. Pakistan and the UK do not have any formal extradition treaty.
The girl’s mother, Olga Sharif, revealed that Sara’s behavior changed as her ex-husband Urfan Sharif’s influence on her life increased. Olga Sharif aged 36, stated that her marriage to Urfan, 41, ended in 2017. In 2019, the court granted Urfan full custody of both Sara and her 13-year-old brother. Since then, Olga Sharif has been allowed to see her children only twice.
The results of a post-mortem examination are awaited to establish the cause of Sara’s death. Olga Sharif hopes to lay her daughter to rest in her native Poland.
