Saudi Arabia Approves Additional Hajj Quota for 10,000 Pakistani Pilgrims

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar reached out to his Saudi counterpart with a special request to increase Pakistan’s Hajj quota, particularly for those citizens who missed the initial registration deadline.

Acting on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and through the efforts of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Saudi authorities have approved Pakistan’s request, granting permission for an additional 10,000 pilgrims to perform Hajj.

This extension reflects the strong bilateral ties, cooperation, and Saudi Arabia’s continued goodwill toward the people of Pakistan.

The decision ensures that 10,000 more Pakistanis will be able to undertake the sacred pilgrimage in 2025, highlighting the special attention given by the Kingdom to the spiritual aspirations of the Pakistani people.
