Additionally, four other rangers sustained injuries during the heavy gunfire and explosions. Security forces responded swiftly to the breach. They successfully killed three attackers and apprehended one suspect alive during the retaliatory operation.

The Foreign Office issued a strong diplomatic protest to the Afghan Taliban regime on Monday. Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch confirmed that Islamabad formally summoned the Afghan chargรฉ d’affaires. Concurrently, Pakistanโs Ambassador to Afghanistan, Ubaidur Rehman Nizamani, delivered a similar demarche directly to the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These intense diplomatic maneuvers followed concrete evidence linking the cross-border attackers to Afghan territory. Pakistan continues to demand that Kabul prevent militants from using its soil for regional terrorism.
Terrorist Links Exposed
Initial intelligence findings directly connect the violent operation to an Indian proxy group. The military’s media wing stated that the perpetrators belonged to Jamaatul Ahrar. Following his arrest, the captured militant identified himself as Usman Ali, an Afghan national. Security sources revealed that Ali confessed to crossing into Pakistan from Jalalabad just one week prior to the raid. He also disclosed that his cell received extensive militant training inside Afghanistan under the direct command of Ahrar Moulvi.
