The government on Monday extended the deadline for submitting applications for positions in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), offering additional time to prospective candidates. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi approved the decision to ease the application process and improve accessibility.
Application timeline updated without policy changes
According to officials, the recruitment drive for 1,394 vacancies remains underway, with the new submission deadline set for May 11, 2026. However, authorities clarified that all existing terms and conditions will remain unchanged. In particular, the cut-off date for educational qualifications and professional experience will stay fixed at May 4, 2026, as previously announced.
Moreover, officials stressed that applicants must meet eligibility criteria based on the original deadline, regardless of the extension. Therefore, candidates who qualify under the existing requirements can take advantage of the additional time to complete their submissions.
Authorities also reiterated that no applications will be accepted after the revised closing date. Consequently, applicants have been advised to finalize their documents promptly to avoid last-minute issues.
