Major postings announced across divisions
The federal government has initiated a significant reshuffle in the bureaucracy, transferring several senior and mid-level officers across ministries and departments. The Establishment Division issued formal notifications outlining the new appointments and directives.
Saad Sikandar Khan, a Grade 21 officer, has moved from the Climate Change Division to the Revenue Division, where he will serve as Additional Secretary. Meanwhile, Adeel Raza will continue his duties as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Health, ensuring continuity in administrative functions.
Changes in deputy and section officer positions
In another development, authorities have designated Ali Sufyan, previously Deputy Secretary in the Commerce Division, as an Officer on Special Duty in the Establishment Division. Additionally, officials have placed his services at the disposal of the Pakistan Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority on an attachment basis.
Furthermore, Sajid Khan has assumed charge as Deputy Secretary in the Power Division, while Mureed Hussain Jasra and Abdul Rahim Khan have taken up similar roles in the Defense and Petroleum Divisions, respectively. At the same time, Grade 18 officer Atif Amir has been transferred from the Federal Police to the Punjab Government, reflecting inter-provincial administrative coordination.
Moreover, the reshuffle includes several section officer transfers. Farhan Ahmed Chaudhry has moved to the Establishment Division, while Navira Farooqโs services have shifted to the Establishment Department. Similarly, Muhammad Riaz, Bilal Ilyas, and Amjad Ali Khan have received new assignments in various departments.
