Even though the evening started out nicely for those attending the high-profile event, the appearance of numerous gunshots made it clear that the party is over. The agents of the Secret Service reacted quickly and surrounded President Donald Trump, taking him away from the venue through an emergency exit. At the same time, Vice President JD Vance was escorted to safety by his guardsmen.
