Taylor Swift wanted to be in “Twilight: New Moon”, revealed director Chris Weitz during an interview

According to director Chris Weitz, Taylor Swift has expressed a desire to appear in “Twilight: New Moon” in an interview.

Considering how “twi-hard” she was during her time there, he recalls hearing from Swift’s agency that the singer wanted to appear in the 2009 film.

Weitz said shared an agent at the time. He told Weitz, “Taylor wanted to be in this movie, it’s not your fault.

Swift merely wanted to be in the movie, so the agent remarked that her part might even be “someone at the cafeteria or the diner,” according to Weitz.

Weitz refused the request, a choice he acknowledged he would regret given Swift’s fame and the potential distraction that could result.

“The hardest thing for me was to be like, the moment that Taylor Swift walks onto the screen, for about five minutes, nobody is going to be able to process anything,” Weitz said. I was thinking, “Wow, I could have been hanging out with Taylor Swift. I also kick myself for it. We might have gotten along.
