Veteran TV host Nadia Khan has voiced concerns over rising star Hania Aamir’s increasing visibility in Indian media, suggesting the actress may be “wasting time” pursuing cross-border recognition.
Hania Aamir is currently among the most popular names in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, with a string of hit dramas and a massive social media following. Her vibrant personality and growing international appeal have drawn attention far beyond borders — especially in India.
The buzz began when Hania was seen spending time with Indian rapper Badshah, followed by a surprise appearance on stage during a Diljit Dosanjh concert in London. Speculation grew further when reports surfaced that she had signed on for a Punjabi film opposite Diljit. Her recent fashion statements, including outfits by Indian designers, have only fueled rumors of her expanding presence in the Indian entertainment scene.
However, not everyone is applauding her apparent career move.
Speaking in a recent interview, Nadia Khan expressed skepticism about Hania’s growing Indian PR activity. “She may appear in a film with Diljit, but in the long run, it’s not going to benefit her,” Nadia argued, warning that such efforts might not yield lasting success. She pointed to examples like Saba Qamar and Sajal Aly, who, despite successful stints in Bollywood, remained grounded in their careers at home.
“She’s walking down a path that might ultimately lead nowhere,” Nadia added.
Surprisingly, a number of social media users echoed her sentiments. “This is the first time I agree with Nadia — she’s absolutely right,” one user wrote. Another commented, “Indian pages post Hania’s PR content without even following her. That says a lot.”
Others drew comparisons to Fawad Khan, whose Bollywood career was abruptly cut short, costing him valuable momentum during the peak of his fame.
Hania Aamir has not yet responded to the criticism, choosing to remain silent amid the growing conversation. Still, her potential Bollywood debut and cross-border stardom remain hot topics of discussion, dividing fans and critics alike.
