Kaley Cuoco is speaking out against the criticism mothers face for their parenting choices, urging people to “stop” the mom-shaming.
In an interview with E! News, the 38-year-old actress, who shares her 18-month-old daughter Matilda with fiancé Tom Pelphrey, addressed the backlash she has received for her parenting style. She emphasized that every mother is doing her best.
“Every mom, I can guarantee, is doing the best they can,” Kaley said. “Look, everyone has something to say about everything. It hasn’t changed—before I had kids, after having kids, or where I am in life… It’s just part of this business, this life. But yeah, the shaming needs to stop.”
The Big Bang Theory alum also shared that her daughter is “the happiest kid in the world,” while highlighting that parenting isn’t a “one-size-fits-all” journey.
“Every child in the world is so different,” she continued. “What works for your child might not work for mine, and that’s okay.”
Kaley’s candid remarks serve as a reminder to respect the unique challenges and choices every parent makes.
