Chaos at Sonu Nigam’s Concert as Crowd Throws Stones and Bottles

Indian singer Sonu Nigam’s concert at Delhi Technological University’s (DTU) “Engifest 2025” was marred by chaos when a group of students in the audience began hurling stones and bottles towards the stage.

During the disturbance, Nigam urged the crowd to calm down and emphasized the importance of ensuring the safety of his team. Addressing the unruly audience, he said, “I am here for you so that we can all have a good time. I’m not saying don’t enjoy yourselves, but please don’t do this.”

Despite the disruptive behavior, Nigam continued his performance, and videos circulating on social media show him engaging with the audience, even humorously wearing a pink bunny-ear headband thrown at him by a fan.

This incident is not the first time Nigam has faced such disruptions. Earlier this year, during a concert in Kolkata, he was visibly upset with the crowd’s unruly behavior, and a viral video showed him scolding the audience, even making a sarcastic remark: “If you want to stand up so badly, go contest the elections, yaar!”

In addition to concert mishaps, Nigam recently voiced his frustration over not receiving any nominations from the IIFA Awards committee this year.
