Federal Government Jacked up Petrol Price by RS1.45 Per Litre

While keeping the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) unchanged, the federal government increased the price of petrol by Rs1.45 per litre.

According to the announcement made by the finance ministry, the price of light diesel has dropped by Rs4.26 per litre and the price of kerosene oil has dropped by Rs8.30 per litre. At Midnight, the revised rates became effective (night between Sept 20 and Sept 21).

The new price of petrol after the price rise is going to be Rs237.43 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel will stay the same and be sold at Rs247.43 per litre.

The price of light diesel was lowered by Rs4.26 per litre, and the new price was set at Rs197.28 per litre. Kerosene’s price has been reduced by Rs 8.30 per litre; the subsequent price will be Rs 202.02 per litre.

The prices of petroleum products will change officially by Re0.08 per litre, according to earlier comments made by Finance Minister Miftah Ismail.

The federal minister had stated in an interview with a local TV station on Saturday that the price of gasoline or diesel will either climb or reduce.
