ISLAMABAD: The State Bank of Pakistan today announced Dec 31, 2022, as the final deadline to exchange the old bank-notes of Rs 10, 50, 100 and 1000 denomination.
In a tweet, the central bank urged the general public to exchange old currency notes within the prescribed deadline to avoid their cancellation.
The last date to exchange old designed large size banknotes of Rs 10, 50, 100 & 1000 is December 31, 2022. These old design banknotes can now be exchanged from the counters of #SBP BSC offices across the country till December 31, 2022. Details: https://t.co/g8oJf1jOrU pic.twitter.com/t4U7VNx7S5

The State Bank of Pakistan has also issued designs of old and new bank-notes for comparison of new and old banknotes for the information of the public.
The central bank said that the notes can be exchanged from the offices of the State bank of Pakistan by Dec 31, 2022.
