Pakistani media personality Dr Nabiha Ali Khan has once again become the focus of public attention. Her recent remarks about character, beauty, and personal life have triggered widespread debate on social media.
She made these comments during an appearance on the podcast Jawan-e-Pakistan, where she discussed personal values and life experiences.
“Character Matters More Than Beauty” Statement Goes Viral
During the conversation, Dr Nabiha strongly emphasized the importance of character over physical appearance. She argued that personality and moral conduct define a person more than looks.
She stated:
“Aurtain mujh sy zyada khoobsoorat toh ban sakti hain lekin aurtain mery jaisa sharafat jo hain na, jis ke paas aa gayi na, us bechari aurat ka kirdar phir dunya mein bolay ga. Mein kehti hoon ke karo, aisay kaam karo. Agar mery sy takkar leni hai ya hasad karni hai to mery jaisay kirdar par kaam karo. Mery jaisay baal, mery jaisi aankhain, mery jaisay lips aur mery jaisi looks toh kar sakte ho, lekin jis din tum ne mery jaisay kirdar par kaam kar liya, tumhari zindagi sanwar jaye gi,”
She suggested that beauty can be replicated, but character defines long-term respect and success.
Discussion on Personal Regret Also Resurfaces
The viral attention increased after another clip from the same podcast resurfaced. In that segment, she was asked about her biggest regret in life.
When asked, “Koi ek aisi ghalti jis par aap ko bohat regret ho?”, she initially hesitated before responding.
The host jokingly suggested it might be marriage, which made her laugh.
She then replied:
“Mein ny zindagi mein ghaltiyan bohat kam ki hain. Zindagi ki aik hi ghalti ki hai aur wohi bhugat rahi hoon.”
She added further:
“Ab woh hoga jo dil farmaye ga, baaqi jo hoga dekha jaye ga.”
Social Media Reaction Turns Divided
Her remarks quickly spread online and triggered a mixed reaction. Many users criticized her statements, while others responded with sarcasm and satire.
One user commented:
“Oh my GOD, this is just ridiculous.”
Another user wrote a more critical reaction, stating:
“Previously, such women used to live in separate areas, and those areas even had a distinct name. Now, they have moved into every colony, every street, and every neighbourhood. What’s even more concerning is that social media has become flooded with the influence and temptations associated with this lifestyle and character.”
Meanwhile, another user added a sarcastic remark:
“Us ke liye logon ko plastic jama karni paray gi.”
Ongoing Online Debate
The discussion continues to trend across social media platforms, with users debating the meaning of character, public influence, and personal expression.
While some support her emphasis on moral values, others argue that her statements come across as controversial and divisive.
The incident once again highlights how celebrity remarks can quickly ignite nationwide debate in the digital age.
