Pakistani celebrity stylist Sana Anver described Paris Haute Couture Week as a deeply personal experience. She returned to the city where her fashion journey first began. Moreover, the visit allowed her to reconnect with her alma mater and showcase Pakistani fashion internationally.
Anver attended couture shows and visited the Istituto Marangoni Paris. She also addressed current students, sharing her career journey and professional experiences.
Couture Week Inspires Creativity And Storytelling
Anver said returning to the institute reminded her that careers evolve over time. She encouraged aspiring creatives to remain committed to their dreams.
She described Haute Couture Week as the highest expression of fashion craftsmanship. Unlike ready-to-wear collections, couture garments require hundreds of hours of detailed handwork.
According to Anver, the event offers stylists valuable insights into creativity, construction, and visual storytelling. She added that couture collections often reflect emotion, culture, and artistic expression rather than seasonal trends.
One of the highlights of her visit was the Iris van Herpen show. She praised the designer’s innovative approach, combining fashion with science, technology, and nature.
Pakistani Designers Shine On Global Stage
For the Iris van Herpen presentation, Anver wore a burgundy outfit by Studio by ZSJ. She said the ensemble reflected both her Pakistani identity and couture’s sculptural aesthetic.
Anver explained that wearing Pakistani designers at international events celebrates regional craftsmanship. Furthermore, she believes exceptional artistry deserves global recognition regardless of geography.
She also attended the Stรฉphane Rolland show wearing an outfit by Pakistani label Baro Studio. The collection impressed her with its precision, elegant tailoring, and refined craftsmanship. Anver said the experience left her inspired and reinforced her appreciation for creativity, innovation, and the growing influence of Pakistani fashion on the global stage.
