ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority held its Hajj 2027 draw today to select employees through lucky draw. The initiative is the part of a special pilgrimage scheme for CDA staffers working in Grade 1 to 16. Non-gazetted CDA staffers working in Grade 17 are also eligible for the Hajj facility.
The draw took place at the CDA headquarters conference room today. Officials planned the selection of 63 male and seven female employees.
CDA Hajj Scheme Covers Lower Grades
Employees from BPS-1 to BPS-16 and non-Gazetted BPS-17 staff qualify for the scheme. The authority has included employees aged above 40 years in the draw. Selected female employees will perform Hajj with their mahrams
The initiative aims to provide eligible staff with an opportunity to perform the pilgrimage through CDA’s employee welfare arrangements.
Digital Hajj System Expands
Meanwhile, preparations for Hajj 2027 are continuing across Pakistan. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced a digital Hajj Management System.
The system allows registered pilgrims to submit applications, complete document verification and pay required dues online.
Furthermore, the government’s Pak Hajj App and Hajj Portal provide digital payment facilities for applicants. As a result, pilgrims can complete several procedures without visiting banks or handling extensive paperwork.
The CDA draw allows an opportunity to the low-paid employees to perform Hajj at the authority’s expense. CDA will inform the lucky staff members selected through draw today evening.
