The Balochistan government has announced a general relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates applying for government jobs, giving eligible applicants more time to seek public-sector employment.
Under the new policy, certain government employees can now apply for posts until the age of 50 years if they meet the required service conditions.
Age Limit Raised to 50 Years
The revised age limit applies to government employees who have completed at least two years of continuous government service.
However, the relaxation does not cover every government position. Posts that already carry a maximum age limit below 43 years will remain outside the scope of the new policy.

According to a Balochistan government spokesperson, candidates will not receive any additional age relaxation beyond the newly announced limit.
Therefore, eligible applicants cannot combine the new relaxation with another concession to exceed the revised maximum age.

The newly announced age relaxation will remain in effect for three years from the date of issuance of the notification.
