Pee Cee roasted: Priyanka chopra’s interview with oprah winfrey invites resentments

After a world-class most controversial interview with Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Oprah Winfrey turned to the Hollywood and Bollywood celebrity, Priyanka Chopra, for an interview. The teaser of the interview is already making headlines as Priyanka reveals her spiritual side saying that she has touched various religions in her life living in a religiously diverse country like India.

Referring to her freshly released memoir Unfinished, Pee Cee was asked about the spiritual foundation by Winfrey to which Chopra said,

“I think I did. In India, it is hard not to. You’re right. With the swirling number of religions that we have, that live within the country as well. I grew up in a convent school. I was aware of Christianity. My dad used to sing in a mosque, I was aware of Islam. I grew up in a Hindu family, I was aware of that. Spirituality is such a large part of India that you really cannot ignore it.”

The 2-minute interview teaser has already been released. However, the Muslim community all over the world has not taken it well. Wide criticism has surfaced following the release of the trailer. The interview is not doing good for Pee Cee. Chopra has been the victim of public outrage in the past for her ignorance. 

Chopra’s interview will premiere on March 20 as part of Oprah’s new series SuperSoul.
