Another PTI activist blames Imran Khan, Fawad for influencing him to defame institutions

ISLAMABAD: The security agencies have rounded up another activist of PTI, Shafiq, who confessed of defaming the state institutions.

He blamed Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry who influenced him to carry out this anti-state activity and now he felt ashamed of it and seeking apology, urging other PTI activists not to defame institutions.

In a video, PTI media activist Muhammad Shafiq claimed that ex-prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry asked him to save the phone numbers of some of his friends as ‘private number’ on his phone.

As per instructions from the PTI leaders, Shafiq asked his friends to call him and then threaten. In response, he also ‘threatened’ the make-believe aggressors.

Shafiq has urged all the social media activists of the PTI to stay away from defaming the state institutions.

He said that he felt the gravity of his mala-fide campaign when his propaganda became viral on the social media, which damaged the reputation of the institutions.
