ISLAMABAD: The ruling party (PTI’s) disgruntled leader Jahangir khan Tareen has been discharged from a private clinic in London.
According to credible sources, Tareen, after undergoing treatment for one week, has moved to his house in Newbury, near Oxford on Saturday. His son Ali Tareen and other family members are also with him.
Tareen was being treated at a private hospital in London, close to Harley Street.
According to sources, Jahangir Tareen is in good health now and he has been advised a complete rest by his doctors. It’s understood that Tareen will stay in the UK for another week and will return to Pakistan depending on his doctors’ advice.
Sources also said that PTI leader Aleem Khan would soon hold an important meeting with pro-Tareen group members ahead of the no-trust move against the Prime Minister.

Meanwhile, Jahangir Tareen has spent his time in England to have rest and to focus on his health. He has been in touch with his political allies in Pakistan. MPA Suleiman Naeem, one of the members of pro-Tareen group has told the media a couple days ago that Jahangir Tareen will be in Pakistan at the time of no-confidence move. He, however, did not disclose to whom the disgruntled PTI group would support in the no-trust move.
Tareen to make important announcement soon
Sources dispelled the impression that Tareen has met with PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif in London and said that he would soon make a major announcement.
During his stay in London, the disgruntled PML-N leader is expected to hold important meetings.
It is pertinent to mention here that Tareen had left for London on February 26 after his health deteriorated. Before leaving the country, he had been admitted to a private hospital in Lahore for one week.
He, however, has resumed political activities and will chair an important meeting virtually from the UK. PTI leader Aleem Khan will also attend the huddle, being considered an important political development amid the Opposition’s efforts to dent PTI in Punjab.
