XPENG is preparing to launch its next-generation G9L flagship SUV in Pakistan next month, bringing advanced artificial intelligence and premium electric vehicle technology to the local market.
The company confirmed the Pakistan launch during the local unveiling of the XPENG L03. The G9L completed its global launch at the 2026 Paris Motor Show on October 12 after debuting earlier in China.
The large SUV measures 5,120mm in length and has a 3,100mm wheelbase. It features rear-wheel steering, helping reduce its turning radius to around 5.5 metres. International models also offer air suspension and adaptive damping.
XPENG offers the G9L with battery-electric and range-extended powertrains globally. However, the company has not confirmed which versions will be available in Pakistan.
The European electric version uses a 110kWh battery. The rear-wheel-drive model delivers around 362 horsepower and offers up to 591 kilometres of WLTP range. The performance version produces around 577 horsepower.
Charging is another major highlight. The G9L uses an 800-volt architecture with 5C fast-charging technology. XPENG claims compatible versions can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 11.7 minutes under suitable conditions.
The SUV also features XPENG’s Turing AI chips, an advanced driver-assistance system and an 88-inch augmented-reality head-up display. Selected versions offer up to seven seats, premium leather, a rear entertainment screen and multiple passenger displays.
Pakistan-specific pricing, powertrain options and equipment have not yet been announced.
The upcoming launch will expand XPENG’s presence in Pakistan while adding another technology-focused premium SUV to the growing electric vehicle market.
