Worldcall Telecom Limited (PSX: WTL) has returned to the Pakistan Stock Exchange’s Normal Counter after a recent compliance setback.
The restoration took effect on September 23, bringing WTL back from the Non-Compliant Segment. The Pakistan Stock Exchange issued a notice confirming the move.
Worldcall Shares Return to Normal Counter
The move restores Worldcall’s securities to the Normal Counter at PSX. As a result, the company’s shares regain their normal trading status on the exchange.
Worldcall had been shifted to the Non-Compliant Segment earlier in September. NCCPL records show that the placement took effect on September 16.
Following that move, WTL securities were excluded from the Margin Financing System and Securities Lending and Borrowing system.
However, the latest restoration changes the trading status of Worldcall shares. The development also brings the company’s securities back within the relevant financing and lending arrangements.
WTL Regains Access to Key Trading Facilities
Worldcall shares are now included among securities eligible for the Margin Financing System (MF) and Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB-B).
The eligibility takes effect from September 23, alongside the restoration to the Normal Counter.
Therefore, investors can once again see WTL within the applicable framework for these trading facilities.
Why Was Worldcall Moved to the Non-Compliant Segment?
Worldcall was previously placed in the Non-Compliant Segment in December 2025. The move followed the company’s non-payment of an additional listing fee. The fee was linked to an increase in Worldcall’s paid-up capital.
PSX records show that the exchange had previously notified WTL’s placement over the additional listing fee issue.
The company was later restored to the Normal Counter in December 2025 following a court order.
However, Worldcall faced another shift to the Non-Compliant Segment in September 2026.
Now, the latest PSX notice confirms its return to the Normal Counter.
The development marks another change in Worldcall’s trading status at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, restoring its eligibility under the specified trading facilities.
