Karachi is expected to remain humid with partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours, according to the latest weather outlook.
However, residents may experience brief relief as light drizzle is likely in some areas during the morning and night hours.
The weather pattern reflects continuing seasonal humidity across the city, while temperatures are expected to remain moderately high.
Temperature to Stay Between 34ยฐC and 36ยฐC
According to the forecast, Karachiโs maximum temperature is expected to remain between 34ยฐC and 36ยฐC.
Meanwhile, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29ยฐC.
Humidity reached 78%, which continued to increase discomfort levels despite the possibility of light rainfall.
Sea breezes were also recorded at a speed of 15 kilometres per hour and may provide limited cooling in coastal areas.
Although weather conditions are not expected to shift dramatically, the combination of cloud cover and drizzle could make some periods feel slightly more comfortable.
Weather Conditions Differ Across Other Regions
While Karachi is expected to remain humid, weather conditions vary across other parts of the country.
Clear skies continued in Peshawar, where temperatures are forecast to rise to 41ยฐC.
At the same time, rain is expected across most upper districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the coming 24 hours.
However, hotter conditions are likely to persist across the provinceโs plain areas.
Peshawar recorded a minimum temperature of 26ยฐC, while humidity remained significantly lower at 43%.
These varying weather conditions highlight the seasonal contrast between Pakistanโs coastal and inland regions.
Above-Normal Temperatures Continue to Shape National Weather Trends
The latest forecast comes during a period in which temperatures across Pakistan are expected to remain above seasonal averages.
Warmer-than-normal conditions are considered more likely in southern regions stretching from eastern Balochistan and western Sindh to central Punjab.
Recent climate observations also showed unusually dry conditions in Sindh.
During May, the province received only 0.3 millimetres of rainfall, which remained far below its long-term average.
At the same time, Sindhโs average temperature reached 35.2ยฐC, remaining one degree above normal conditions.
Rainfall Outlook Remains Uneven Despite Heat Concerns
For June, rainfall is expected to remain near normal or slightly below normal across much of the country.
Southern regions, including large parts of Sindh, are likely to receive rainfall close to seasonal averages.
However, rainfall distribution may vary significantly from one location to another.
Weather authorities also indicated that prolonged warmer conditions could increase the possibility of heat spikes and extended heatwave periods.
This risk remains particularly relevant for plain areas of Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan.
At the same time, isolated heavy rainfall events may still occur.
Such downpours could create localised urban flooding, especially in low-lying and poorly drained areas.
What Karachi Residents Can Expect
For now, Karachi residents should prepare for another humid day with intermittent cloud cover.
Even though widespread rainfall is not expected, light drizzle during morning and nighttime hours may bring temporary relief.
However, warm temperatures and moisture levels are likely to remain the dominant weather conditions across the city.
