According to official documents, Islamabad Police dismissed 11 personnel after they failed to perform duties assigned at important and highly sensitive locations.
Authorities considered their absence a serious violation of professional responsibilities. Consequently, the department initiated disciplinary proceedings and removed the officials from service.
Officials stated that the action followed departmental rules governing misconduct and dereliction of duty.
Two ASIs Among Dismissed Personnel
The disciplinary action included two assistant sub-inspectors.
ASIs Abid Hussain and Waqar Ahmed were removed from service along with several constables.
The dismissed constables included Ghulam Murtaza, Khurram Shahzad, Muhammad Shahzad Aslam, Muhammad Irfan, and other police personnel.
According to the available documents, all of them had been assigned duties at important points before they failed to report for duty.

The department described the officials’ absence from duty as “criminal negligence.”
Authorities concluded that the personnel failed to fulfil responsibilities linked to highly sensitive assignments.
As a result, Islamabad Police decided to impose the maximum departmental penalty by dismissing the officials from service.
