Five talented students from Sindh have secured fully funded postgraduate scholarships to study at the prestigious University of Oxford. The students were selected under the Bhutto Scholarship programme, which provides talented students with opportunities to pursue higher education internationally.
Students Selected From Three Sindh Districts
The selected students come from Korangi, Shaheed Benazirabad and Khairpur districts.
They have gained admission to postgraduate programmes covering several specialised fields. Their areas of study include economics, embryology and engineering science.
In addition, the students have secured admission to a zero-carbon energy research programme. The opportunity will allow them to continue advanced research in an internationally recognised academic environment.
Bhutto STEM Scholarship Supports Global Education
The Bhutto STEM Scholarship aims to provide talented students with access to world-class education and research opportunities.
The programme focuses on supporting students with strong academic potential and helping them pursue advanced studies at leading international institutions.
Fully funded scholarships can also reduce financial barriers for students seeking postgraduate education abroad. As a result, talented young people can focus on their studies and research without carrying the full cost of overseas education.
Education a Priority for Sindh Youth
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said empowering young people through education remains a top priority.
The selection of five students for Oxford scholarships marks another opportunity for Sindh’s talented youth to gain international academic exposure.
Their success could also encourage other students across the province to pursue higher education and research opportunities abroad.
