Pakistani passport holders can currently travel to 30 destinations without obtaining a traditional visa in advance, according to the latest Henley Passport Index released in July 2026.
The updated ranking shows that Pakistani travelers can visit several countries through visa-free entry, visa-on-arrival (VOA), or electronic travel authorization (ETA). Although Pakistan’s passport slipped to 100th position in the global rankings after briefly improving to 97th earlier this year, travelers still have access to destinations across Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.
Pakistan Passport Ranking Updated
The latest Henley Passport Index places Pakistan’s passport at 100th in the world.
Despite the slight decline in ranking, Pakistani citizens continue to enjoy simplified travel options to 30 countries. These destinations offer either visa-free entry, visas on arrival or electronic travel authorization, reducing the need for lengthy visa procedures.
As a result, international travel remains more convenient for many Pakistani passport holders planning vacations, business trips or family visits.
11 Countries Offer Visa-Free Entry
Currently, 11 countries allow Pakistani citizens to enter without obtaining a visa before departure.
These countries are:
- Barbados
- Dominica
- Haiti
- Micronesia
- Montserrat
- Rwanda
- St. Vincent and the Grenadines
- The Gambia
- Trinidad and Tobago
- Vanuatu
- Cook Islands
Travelers should still ensure they meet each country’s entry requirements, including passport validity and any health or immigration regulations.
16 Countries Offer Visa on Arrival
In addition to visa-free destinations, 16 countries issue visas on arrival to Pakistani passport holders.
This means eligible travelers can receive entry permits after arriving at their destination.
The countries include:
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Cambodia
- Madagascar
- Palau
- Samoa
- Senegal
- Sierra Leone
- Timor-Leste
- Tuvalu
- Burundi
- Cape Verde Islands
- Comoro Islands
- Djibouti
- Guinea-Bissau
- Niue
However, travelers should check the latest immigration requirements before departure because entry conditions may change.
Three Countries Require Electronic Travel Authorization
Meanwhile, Kenya, Seychelles and Sri Lanka require Pakistani travelers to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before departure.
Although an ETA is not a traditional visa, travelers must receive approval online before boarding their flights.
This digital process is generally faster and simpler than applying for a conventional visa through an embassy or consulate.
Travelers Should Verify Entry Requirements
While these destinations provide easier entry options, immigration policies can change without prior notice.
Therefore, Pakistani travelers should always confirm the latest visa rules, passport validity requirements and other travel conditions before making travel plans.
Checking official immigration guidelines before departure can help avoid unexpected delays and ensure a smoother travel experience.
