Football fans across Sindh will soon have the chance to enjoy the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals and final on giant screens. The Sindh government has announced public screenings at several locations to bring supporters together for the tournament’s biggest matches.
The initiative aims to promote football while creating a lively atmosphere for fans across the province. As a result, supporters will be able to experience the excitement of the competition alongside fellow football enthusiasts.
Big Screen Screenings Planned in Karachi
Sindh Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Bakhsh Khan Mahar said the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals, scheduled for July 15 and July 16, will be shown on giant screens.
Moreover, the tournament final, set for July 20, will also be screened at the Youth Development Centre in Sharafi Goth in Karachi’s Malir district.
The minister said the arrangement will allow football lovers in Karachi to gather and watch the decisive matches in a shared and festive environment.
Several Sindh Cities Join the Initiative
In addition to Karachi, the Sindh government has extended the screening plan to several other cities.
Football fans in Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Mirpurkhas will also be able to watch the tournament’s closing stages on large screens.
Meanwhile, Sukkur’s Municipal Stadium will broadcast both semi-final matches and the final. The Rohri Football Ground will screen the championship match for local supporters.
Likewise, the District Sports Complex in Ghotki will show all three matches. However, the Thatta Sports Complex will host a public screening of only the final.
Government Seeks to Promote Football
According to the Sindh government, the initiative is designed to encourage greater interest in football throughout the province.
Furthermore, officials hope the public screenings will strengthen community engagement by giving families and football fans an opportunity to enjoy the tournament together.
The large-screen broadcasts are expected to create an energetic atmosphere as supporters gather to witness the semi-finals and final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
With multiple venues participating across Sindh, football enthusiasts will have convenient opportunities to follow the tournament’s most important matches while celebrating the sport with fellow fans.
