Samsung is preparing to expand its Galaxy S26 lineup with a new smartphone later this month. The company will host its “Galaxy Event August 2026” on Thursday, August 27.
The event will begin at 5:00 PM UTC and will be available through Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel. Samsung has not yet confirmed the name of the upcoming device.
However, reports and recent leaks strongly suggest that the company will introduce the Galaxy S26 FE.

Samsung has not officially announced the specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The company is also yet to confirm its final name.
However, leaked information has already revealed several possible details about the device. An EPREL label reportedly provides information about its energy efficiency, durability and battery performance.
According to the leaked label, the Galaxy S26 FE received an A rating for energy efficiency. It also received an A rating for drop resistance.
The device reportedly received a C rating for repairability. These ratings offer an early look at how the phone could perform in different areas.
Galaxy S26 FE Battery Details
The leaked information also provides details about the smartphone’s battery. The battery is reportedly rated to retain its performance for 1,200 charging cycles.
The phone could also deliver around 50 hours of usage on a single charge, according to the leaked label.
For comparison, the Galaxy S25 FE reportedly supports 2,000 charging cycles. It also offers an estimated endurance of around 42 hours and 37 minutes.

The leaked EPREL information also points to an IP68 rating for the Galaxy S26 FE. This rating would provide protection against dust and water under specified testing conditions.
