Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened an important federal cabinet meeting on Friday to discuss key national matters, including the Kashmir elections and the country’s law and order situation.
According to sources, cabinet members will review the latest regional developments alongside Pakistan’s overall economic, political, and security environment. The meeting is also expected to include detailed briefings on internal security arrangements and national security issues.
Cabinet to review key national developments
The federal cabinet will examine the country’s internal situation and assess measures taken to maintain law and order. Moreover, officials will brief members on recent security developments and other matters of national importance.
Sources said the government will also evaluate regional affairs and their possible impact on Pakistan’s political and economic landscape.
Ministries to seek approval for major decisions
During the meeting, the cabinet will consider decisions made by various cabinet committees for formal ratification. In addition, different ministries and divisions will submit summaries for approval.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet Division has formally informed all federal cabinet members about the scheduled meeting. The session is expected to result in important decisions on governance, security, and administrative affairs.
