PML-N politician Saqib Chadhar has made fresh allegations in his ongoing dispute with Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal.
Saqib disputed harassment allegations and claimed the dispute instead involved videos allegedly shared without permission. He referred to laws concerning the sharing of videos without consent.
He also discussed videos featuring himself and Momina that have circulated online. According to Saqib, the recordings were ordinary videos made inside a car and contained nothing inappropriate.
He claimed Momina had also recorded some of the videos. He further alleged that she showed one recording to his wife during a phone call in 2021 or 2022.
Alleged Settlement Demand
Saqib claimed Momina initially sought Rs20 crore through her lawyer, Adnan Ahsan, to settle the matter. He said the alleged demand later fell to Rs11 crore.
According to him, he requested the demand in writing and later received documents explaining the claimed settlement amount. He questioned the allegations and asked, “Who is the blackmailer?”
Saqib also discussed his relationship with Momina, claiming they met in 2019 and became engaged in 2020. He said she knew he was married and had met his family.
He additionally spoke about Momina’s sister Ramsha and claimed he had supported her education and employment in Australia.
Saqib alleged that disputes later emerged involving Ramsha and other legal matters. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
He said he possesses evidence supporting his version, but the material has not been independently examined.
The latest statement has added another dimension to the dispute, with both sides facing competing claims that remain subject to legal proceedings and verification.
