A 16-year-old TikTok user was allegedly sexually assaulted by four men in Sahiwal, according to police.
The incident reportedly occurred at Chak 90/9-L in Sahiwal tehsil after the teenager was allegedly lured there with a promise of becoming a TikTok star.
Police said the teenager had lost his father several years ago and lived with his widowed mother. He regularly used his mobile phone and posted videos on TikTok.
According to the complaint, a man named in the first information report (FIR) contacted the teenager about a month ago.
The suspect allegedly promised to help him gain recognition as a TikTok star. The two reportedly remained in contact before agreeing to meet at the Old Sabzi Mandi.
Teen Allegedly Taken to House in Sahiwal
According to the complaint, the suspect took the teenager to a house in Chak 90/9-L. The meeting was reportedly intended for further discussion about the promised TikTok opportunity.
However, the teenager alleged that the man and another accomplice threatened him at gunpoint. He further alleged that they forced him to consume an intoxicating substance through shisha. Two additional suspects reportedly arrived at the house later.
According to the complaint, the group then took the teenager’s mobile phone. The suspects allegedly gave him a soft drink containing another intoxicating substance.
Four Men Accused in Assault Case
The teenager told police that he became intoxicated after consuming the substances.
He alleged that all four men then sexually assaulted him. The suspects reportedly fled afterward, leaving the teenager unconscious at the location.
After regaining consciousness, the teenager returned home and told his mother about the alleged incident.
His mother subsequently approached Ghala Mandi Police and reported the matter.
Police Register Case Against Four Suspects
Police registered a case against all four identified suspects following the complaint. The suspects are residents of Sahiwal city, according to the information provided.
Police registered the case under Sections 376(iii) and 176A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
The allegations remain part of the police case, while the investigation will determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The case follows allegations that the teenager was targeted after being offered an opportunity to gain popularity on TikTok.
Meanwhile, the family approached police after the teenager informed his mother about what had allegedly happened.
Authorities have now registered the case against the four identified suspects under the relevant provisions of the PPC.
