Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has told party workers that their political “T20 match” will begin on October 8.
Speaking to workers in Kohat, Afridi urged them to remain patient and conserve their energy. He described their struggle as a long one and asked supporters not to exhaust themselves.
Afridi Urges Workers to Stay Prepared
Addressing PTI workers, Afridi emphasised that the coming struggle would require endurance. He encouraged party supporters to remain committed while avoiding unnecessary exhaustion.
“Our fight is a long one, so do not tire yourselves too much.”
His remarks came as he spoke to party workers in Kohat. However, he did not provide further details about what he meant by the “T20 match” beginning on October 8.
The reference to a T20 match presented the political struggle in sporting terms. At the same time, Afridi’s message focused on patience and sustained effort among party supporters.
‘KP Belongs to PTI Founder Imran Khan’
Afridi also reiterated his position on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the PTI founder.
He told workers that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa belonged to PTI founder Imran Khan. He further said the province would remain so.
The chief minister’s remarks combined his October 8 announcement with a message of continued commitment to the party’s political struggle.
For party workers, his call was therefore focused on remaining prepared while maintaining their strength for what he described as a longer fight.
