Flexible Financing Introduced for Electric Bike Buyers
Vlektra has announced new zero percent markup installment plans for its Velocity 180 electric motorcycle as competition in Pakistanโs electric vehicle market continues to grow.
The company revealed multiple financing options designed to make electric motorcycles more accessible for local consumers. Buyers can now purchase the Velocity 180 through 12-month, 18-month, and 24-month installment plans.
According to details shared by the company, the 12-month plan requires a down payment of Rs. 74,000. Customers will then pay monthly installments of Rs. 24,600.
Under the 18-month option, buyers must make a down payment of Rs. 122,000 followed by monthly installments of Rs. 13,700.
Meanwhile, the 24-month financing plan comes with a larger upfront payment of Rs. 170,000 and monthly installments of Rs. 8,300.
The company says the financing structure aims to encourage wider adoption of electric motorcycles in Pakistan, where rising fuel prices and transportation costs continue affecting consumers.
Industry analysts believe installment plans could play a major role in accelerating electric vehicle adoption by lowering the immediate financial burden on buyers.
Velocity 180 Marketed as Long-Range Electric Motorcycle
Vlektra is positioning the Velocity 180 as one of Pakistanโs longest-range electric motorcycles. The company claims the bike can travel up to 180 kilometres on a single charge under standard riding conditions.
The motorcycle is powered by a 1500W BLDC motor that generates 80 Nm of torque. According to the listed specifications, the bike can achieve a top speed of 70 kilometres per hour.
The electric motorcycle uses a lithium iron phosphate battery with a capacity of 72V 36Ah. Vlektra states that the battery supports up to 3,000 charging cycles, making it suitable for long-term use.
The company also claims the battery can be fully charged in approximately three hours, which could make the motorcycle practical for daily commuting and urban transportation needs.
To strengthen consumer confidence, Vlektra is offering a three-year replacement warranty for the battery. The electric motor is covered under a two-year replacement warranty.
Electric motorcycles are increasingly gaining attention in Pakistan as consumers search for lower running costs and environmentally friendly transportation alternatives.
Features and EV Market Expansion in Pakistan
The Velocity 180 includes several modern features designed to compete with conventional motorcycles in the local market. The bike offers three different riding modes, allowing users to adjust performance based on road conditions and battery usage preferences.
Additional features include LED lighting, a digital meter display, telescopic front suspension forks, and dual spring-loaded rear shock absorbers for improved riding comfort.
Pakistanโs electric vehicle sector has seen gradual growth in recent years as companies introduce new bikes, scooters, and charging technologies. Rising fuel prices and increasing awareness about clean energy transportation are contributing to higher interest in electric mobility solutions.
Manufacturers are also focusing on financing plans and installment options to attract middle-income buyers who may not be able to make full upfront payments.
Analysts believe the success of electric motorcycles in Pakistan will depend on factors including charging infrastructure, battery reliability, affordability, and long-term maintenance support.
With the launch of new financing plans, Vlektra appears focused on expanding its market reach while strengthening its position in Pakistanโs developing electric motorcycle industry.
