Social activist Umme Rabab Chandio has criticized Sindh Police over delays in arresting suspects linked to a recent murder case. She shared a video message directed at Sindh Inspector General of Police Javed Alam Odho.
Chandio questioned the police response and demanded action against the accused. She said her fatherโs young cousin was killed 18 days ago. She alleged that the same individuals involved in her familyโs triple murder case were responsible.
According to Chandio, police took initial action on the first day. However, she claimed authorities later stopped conducting raids to arrest the suspects.
Chandio Questions Delay in Suspect Arrests
The activist expressed frustration over the investigation process. She questioned whether external pressure was stopping police from arresting the accused.
Chandio also mentioned Murtaza Chandio, a main suspect in her familyโs earlier triple murder case. She alleged that influential figures were protecting him again.
She claimed Murtaza had remained absconding for three years in the case involving her father, grandfather, and uncle.
Furthermore, Chandio accused Sardar Chandio of trying to harm individuals allegedly linked to the case. She claimed these actions aimed to involve her family in further disputes.
Activist Reaffirms Commitment to Legal Action
Despite her concerns, Umme Rabab Chandio said her family would continue its legal struggle. She stressed that they always relied on courts instead of violence.
She also stated that any future harm to her or her family would require accountability. She named IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho, DIG Hyderabad Tariq Dharejo, and SSP Dadu Saddam Khaskheli.
Chandio alleged that police officials showed negligence in handling the matter. She urged authorities to take steps for justice and public safety.
Meanwhile, police officials and representatives of Sardar Chandio have not released any official response. The investigation remains under public attention as demands for further action continue.
