TikToker Mr Patlo has released an emotional video appealing for justice following a deadly stampede. The incident occurred during his wedding mehndi ceremony in Sialkot and claimed two lives.
In the tearful video, Mr Patlo expressed frustration over the accusations and alleged abandonment. He claimed influential people who previously maintained close relationships had abandoned him during his difficult time.
He also appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. He requested an impartial investigation and urged authorities not to hold him responsible without establishing the facts.
Mr Patlo Denies Responsibility for Tragedy
Mr Patlo claimed he had obtained official permission before organising the gathering. He said the event aimed to help underprivileged families through financial assistance, food supplies and marriage arrangements.
However, he maintained that an unexpected crowd surge caused the tragedy. He also expressed condolences to the victims’ families and sympathy for those injured.
The TikToker further claimed that back problems had prevented him from appearing before investigators. He said he was receiving medical treatment when the stampede occurred.
Police Investigate Deadly Wedding Gathering
Police registered a case against Mr Patlo, his associates and private security guards. Authorities reported that the stampede killed two people and injured 18 others.
