Ronaldo’s prediction about the Premier League title race comes true

Cristiano Ronaldo made a bold prediction about the Premier League title race this season, accurately forecasting that Arsenal would not win the title. His prediction came true as Manchester City clinched the English league title for the fourth consecutive time on Sunday.

Over the weekend, Ronaldo, now playing for Al Nassr, was seen ringside as Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury, the “Gypsy King.” During the event, Ronaldo interacted with various sports stars, including Al Hilal’s Neymar and boxers Anthony Joshua and Ryan Garcia.

English boxing promoter Frank Warren engaged Ronaldo in conversation, asking him which team he thought would win the Premier League. Warren mentioned he was still waiting for Ronaldo to join his favorite team, Arsenal, ahead of their match against Everton.

When asked about the potential league winner, Ronaldo confidently replied, “They (Arsenal) are not gonna win the league (this season).”

Ronaldo’s prediction was spot on. Despite Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Everton, they fell short of the league title.

Arsenal ended the season two points behind Manchester City, who secured the title with a 3-1 victory over West Ham United, finishing with 91 points after 38 matches.

Meanwhile, Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has once again topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid athletes, with an astounding estimated total earnings of $260 million.

This is the fourth time the 39-year-old has achieved this distinction, underscoring his status as one of the most successful and financially rewarding athletes globally.

Ronaldo’s transfer to the Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has significantly boosted his earnings, contributing $200 million from on-field activities and $60 million from off-field ventures, including lucrative sponsorship deals that capitalize on his massive 629 million Instagram followers.

Despite approaching 40, Ronaldo has expressed his commitment to continue playing at an elite level, demonstrating his unwavering dedication and passion for football.

Ronaldo’s earnings have set a new benchmark for footballers, surpassing even Lionel Messi, who ranks third on the Forbes list with estimated earnings of $135 million.
