Lahore Qalandars, who had faced criticism for being underperformers in the PSL, has climbed up from the fourth to the third spot on the points table after their victory against Peshawar Zalmi in the 15th match.
In the eighth edition of the PCB-convened annual cricket tournament, Lahore hit the highest total of the season so far, creating history. The batters displayed a resounding performance of power-hitting in the 15th PSL fixture, accumulating a huge total of 241 runs in Sunday’s match against Peshawar Zalmi. This awe-inspiring performance resulted in them achieving the highest total of PSL 8 so far and the third-highest total in the PSL’s history.
Meanwhile, Islamabad United have climbed up the ladder by winning three of their last four games.
The team that wins the match will lift the Supernova Trophy and collect a cheque of Rs120 million, while the runners-up will receive a cheque of Rs48 million.
